Engineered Oak Hardwood - Prefinished Oak is much prized for the beauty of its grain and texture, and the richness of its colouring after polishing. As such it has always been a popular wood for flooring. Initially pale brown in colour, oak wood darkens with age. Pre-lacquered oak flooring comes in random length planks made with natural solid oak giving fantastic colour variation on the floor. The boards have a satin lacquer finish and are tongue and grooved on all 4 sides. They also have a micro-bevel on each edge.
