Finger-Jointed Hardwood Flooring
Oak is much prized for the beauty of its grain and texture, and the richness of its colouring after polishing. As such it has always been a popular wood for flooring. Initially pale brown in colour, oak wood darkens with age.
Pre-lacquered oak flooring which comes as a plank strip but made with the finger jointed strips giving fantastic colour variation on each board. The boards have a satin lacquer finish and are tongue and grooved on all 4 sides. They also have a micro-bevel on each edge.
Hardwood flooring only requires underlay if it is being installed on a concrete subfloor. For this type of subfloor, we recommend Envoy Multi. Please see below for further details
